A fabulous day working at Whistlewood Common

Recently we spent a fantastic day working with The Conservation Volunteers at Whistlewood Common near Melbourne.

Whistlewood is ten acres of community-owned land, and the site is designed to work for people, for wildlife and be a welcoming space for people of all ages and backgrounds. Whistlewood is all about learning about nature and creating sustainable environments for us all – right up our street.

As part of our Hedgerow Heroes project we will be laying up to 50 metres of hedge with help from local volunteers and community groups this winter.  We can’t wait to get started!
