Recently we spent another great out-of-office day at Williamthorpe Nature Reserve on the Five Pits Trail.

CPRE Derbyshire is working with Groundwork Greater Nottingham and Derbyshire County Council Countryside Services to plant and lay over 300 metres of hedgerow this winter.

This is part of the Hedgerow Heroes campaign, which aims to increase the hedgerow network by 40% by 2050.

You can find out more about the other projects running in the East Midlands here – https://www.cprederbyshire.org.uk/news/cpre-secures-funding-for-12-hedgerow-projects-in-the-east-midlands/
