Countryside Day
A CPRE Derbyshire event in association with the Woodland Trust
Shipley Country Park
Sunday 7 September 11am – 1pm

Everyone welcome to celebrate Countryside Day with us on Sunday 7th September 2025 11am – 1pm at beautiful Shipley Country Park (DE75 7GX).

Enjoy a guided walk and pond-dipping led by Woodland Trust’s young volunteers, followed by light refreshments in the Visitor’s Centre.

Parking in the Coppiceside Car Park is payable at £3.50 for 3 hours but other than that, the event and the refreshments are FREE!

Well behaved on-lead dogs are welcome at the event. Dogs aren’t allowed in the visitor centre but you can still enjoy the free refreshments – just make yourself known to our volunteers and we’ll bring you a cuppa and a cake to enjoy outside!

No need to book, just come along on the day and we’ll see meet you outside the visitor centre ready for an 11am start.
