The Peak – a new book by Rod Dunn

If you’re looking for an interesting read about the Peak District, we highly recommend The Peak, a new book by CPRE Peak District & South Yorkshire member, Rod Dunn, that takes you on a photographic journey through the landscapes, waterfalls, wildlife and ancient sites of the region.

The foreword, written by Andrew McCloy, Chair of the Peak District National Park, describes the book as “knowledgeable and beautifully illustrated” and a “fitting celebration of the magnificent landscape, natural history and cultural heritage of Britain’s original national park”.

Rod was born in Bakewell, lives in Darley Dale, and has been walking, climbing and taking environmental surveys of the Peak District for over 40 years. He has written a number of books about region and was also the founder of the British Dragonfly Society.
